During the week of February 4th through 8th, AMS school counselors provided activities in their downstairs office area that will help students with life skills. The following activities were in the line-up:

Monday, February 4th:

A relaxation station was set up in the library for students, and they received coloring sheets in Mustang Academy.

Tuesday, February 5th:

Students participated in an estimation station for a chance to win prizes.

Wednesday, February 6th:

Students decorated puzzle pieces to hang on an AMS wall mural.

Thursday, February 7th:

Students received a pencil top eraser and participated in a school-wide scavenger hunt.

Friday, February 8th:

Students who completed and turned in coloring sheet were rewarded with college swag; staff and students were encouraged to wear college t-shirts.

The celebration’s purpose is to recognize the counselor’s unique contribution to the school. National school counseling week highlights the impact school counselors have on school districts and students around the U.S.
