Have you heard the name “Ms.Patterson” around campus? If not, it is likely because she can’t be found in a classroom, but is our librarian, as well as the student council sponsor at AMS. She’s been working in the school district for about 27 years, and enjoys her job because she gets to see more than 100 faces a day. She also loves to read fantasy books, but she’s not picky- she loves them all. Inspiring  kids to read by telling them the good parts and leading them to read the rest is one of her strategies for encouraging student reading. Her favorite quote is,  “Everything is funny, as long as it’s happening to somebody else.”~ Will Rogers.
