Happy Holidays

Teagan Fletcher

These past two months have gone by in a flash! One moment we were trick or treating and the next were eating Turkey! Before we know it, Kris Kringle is going to come down the chimney.

Halloween was a bit different this year but Since Covid has brought down the spirit, more people decided to dress up and get in the spirit. We all needed it. As people walked around their neighborhoods collecting candy and having a peaceful night, there were others walking through the Haunted House. It was especially scary this year. On the Internet, there were many people who expressed how they spent their spooky evening. Many went trunk or treating in their car or they stayed home and watched scary movies.

Thanksgiving rolled around rapidly. I guess Turkey Trots were a no go this year but many got up to make Thanksgiving dinner and have a simple day at home. Many people enjoyed similar dinners following the viewing of the Macy’s Parade and football games. Our whole day was lazy but crazy! I’m pretty sure we all gained 20 lbs and that’s okay!

Over the past two holidays, we’ve been eager to get in the attic and get those Christmas lights, to set up a green tree with bright bulbs, make hot cocoa, and watching hallmark movies. With Christmas almost here it is now our time to shine! Happy Holidays!
